    How much does shipping cost in Australia?

    Shipping is simple and safe. We use TNT, Australia Post e-parcel and private couriers, allowing you to track your order from placement to delivery. Shipping for most Dunlin items starts at a simple $9.90 Australia wide. For lighting and fragile items, notably furniture, an additional oversize shipping fee is charged by our couriers. This is calculated by weight, volume and fragility once you have entered your shipping details during the checkout process. We will let you know of all shipping charges during the checkout process prior to payment. To see the final shipping charges please check out and the shipping will be displayed based on your order and postcode within Australia.

    We ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight and destination, simply proceed to the checkout and the shipping rate will be calculated and displayed. Please contact us if you are unable to ship to your location.

    Where can I see one of your products? 

    You are more than welcome to visit us at our Paddington, Sydney showroom. 

    How long does delivery take?

    Delivery time across Australia is 3 ~ 5 days, larger items, such as furniture and lighting may take longer. We ship from our distribution center in Sydney, so orders to Western Australia and the Northern Territory may on occasion take longer than three days. For international orders delivery typically takes between 3 ~ 5 days, depending on FedEx and the delivery location. Please note all orders require a signature upon receipt and that we are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

    Can I track my order?

    Once your order has left Dunlin you will receive an email with tracking information for Australia Post's e-parcel system. Its simple and straightforward, and allows you to track your order with up to the minute information. For some large items couriers will carry your goods, and we will provide a custom tracking number to allow you to follow the items progress.

    Can I ship to a PO Box?

    Yes, however some larger items, such as furniture require a signature, which would prevent delivery to a PO Box.

    Do I need to personally accept a delivery?

    Australia Post's shipping system requires a signature upon delivery, which ensure the safety of your order. We are able to ship to business address if you are unable to receive your delivery.

    Returns.

    Dunlin's return policy enables you to return your purchase for any reason within 5 days of having received it unless it was custom made or is a Nodi Rug.
    However, please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or not contacted Dunlin within five days of receipt.

    We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

    You have the right to open the package and check the contents but the product must be returned unused, and all original packaging and instruction manuals must be returned or we will be unable to issue a refund. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the safe delivery back to Dunlin of all returns, we suggest shipping with insurance and tracking. 


    How to make a return.

    Simply contact us and we will work with you to quickly and simply return the item. 


    Warranties.

    All light fittings have a 12-month warranty if installed by a qualified electrician, excluding globes. Outdoor lighting is designed to age and material changes including weathering, oxidisation and colour changes are intended and are part of the design. Additional warranty information Dunlin products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The costs associated with a claim made against these warranties are to be borne by you. These warranties constitute the entire guarantee by Dunlin. Except where otherwise provided by the Australian Consumer Law, all other obligations, warranties, both expressed and implied are excluded to the fullest extent allowed by law.

    Damaged Items.

    Given a number of orders are delivered to building sites, it is critical that all deliveries are inspected and checked and any damage is noted and Dunlin is informed.

    Customers should inspect all deliveries immediately upon arrival. All Goods are considered to be in good condition as of delivery and not delivered in error unless they are reported as defective or delivered in error within 24 hours of receipt at the shipping address on record. The 24 hour window begins on receipt as logged by our courier partners. You must report any damage to boxes, material defects, or errors in delivery within 24 hours to Dunlin. No replacements/refunds will be given for damaged goods unless Dunlin is notified in writing. 

    Privacy.

    We guarantee that any information shared with Dunlin will remain confidential, and will not be disclosed to any third party. We will only use your personal information to keep you informed of our special events or promotions, to register you with our website, to administer our website services, and/or to process any orders you may place online. We do not retain any billing information, including credit card details and shipping addresses, so you know your information will always be safe.
